The third quarter of 2024 saw varying trends in the performance of the top theme park apps on the Android platform in Africa. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the leading apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

My Disney Experience experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, beginning with 127 in early July and peaking at 216 by late August. However, by the end of September, downloads had decreased to 116. Active users showed a similar upward trend initially, climbing from 347 in early July to a high of 514 by late August, before seeing a slight decline to 438 by the end of the quarter.

Disneyland® maintained a moderate download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 79 in early July and ending at 44 by September's close. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 116 in late July to 78 by the end of September.

Disneyland® Paris saw fluctuating download numbers, beginning at 96 in the first week of July, dipping to a low of 15 in early September, and rebounding to 55 by the end of the month. Active users initially decreased from 153 in early July to 35 by late August but recovered to 121 by the end of September.

Finally, Universal Studios Hollywood experienced modest download numbers, beginning at 14 in early July, peaking at 60 in mid-August, and concluding at 30 by the end of September. Active user data was limited, but it showed a slight increase from 22 in mid-August to 23 by the end of the month.
